What is included in a treadmill Tune Up:
Inspection:
Check for any loose screws, frayed wires, or other signs of wear and tear. Ensure the power cord is safely out of the way.
Lubrication:
Apply lubricant to the belt, to reduce friction and wear.
Tension Adjustment:
Ensure the belt is properly tightened and aligned. Over-tightening can damage the motor, while under-tightening can cause slippage.
Calibration (as needed):
Calibrate the treadmill to ensure it’s reading speed and distance accurately.
Wipe Down Treadmill:
Regularly wipe down the surface of the treadmill and vacuum under the belt to remove dust and debris.
